摘要
Low frequency electrical currents traversing the body during electrical shock can produce tissue damage by effects of electrical forces on cellular organelles and proteins as well as by Joule heating beyond thermotolerance. Treatment for these different injuries are quite distinct. Therefore, it is important to accurately diagnosis the form of injury. Here we discuss the use of MRI for this purpose.
