摘要
Tensile strength, compressive strength and modulus anisotropic behaviour of four schistose rocks has been analysed critically. An attempt is made to find out the effect of confining pressure of up to 100 MPa on detoriation of the strength and modulus anisotropy of four schistose rocks obtained from two power house sites at the foothills of the Himalayas.
