摘要
Innovation and its implementation has become the new mantra that is driving organizations to create value, grow markets and achieve competitive advantage through new products, processes and services. To provide a better service on the innovation of SMEs, a program on national platforms is being developed by Chinese governments to support innovation across the public and private sectors since 2008.Yet China has an unbalanced science and technology development. So it makes sense for regional innovation platforms' construction. In this paper, a platform approach is introduced with an innovation platform is derived from studies and analysis of former platform conceptions. Of which, a regional innovation platform is an extension of innovation platforms. Regional platform is proved to be efficient and effective in evoke the dynamic of regional innovation potentials. The innovation platform strategy is suggested to China's situation
