摘要
A dual-band dual-polarization reflectarray unit cell is proposed for a spaceborne synthetic aperture radar application. The unit cell consists of a set of four dipoles aperture-coupled to striplines for phase control. Two pairs of dipoles work respectively at 13.6 GHz and 17.2 GHz, two frequencies selected for snow mass measurements. Very low mutual coupling between the dipoles allows independent phase control for both frequencies and polarizations. Phase ranges over 360 degrees are achieved without affecting the phase of other reflected coefficients.
