Synthesis of a Li2FeSiO4/C nanocrystalline cathode material for lithium-ion batteries

摘要
Nanocrystalline cathode material Li2FeSiO4/C was synthesized by the solid-state synthesis method, with amorphous Li2SiO3 produced by fusion of SiO2 and Li2CO3 as the starting component. The resulting powders were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry. The electrochemical characteristics of the material were obtained by galvanostatic cycling in the range 1.5-4.6 V.
