Almost everyone has a boss. Even the chief executive officer (CEO) of a company works for someone. Typically, a CEO reports to a board of directors. Many CEOs have considerable influence over the members of the board, so maybe they don't really have bosses. Owners of private companies may have important constituencies, but they don't really have bosses either. The rest of us do. © 2000-2012 IEEE.
