摘要
The lighting redesign and realization of a small faculty office space is utilized as the referent context in arguing for the strengths and limitations of Lightscape(TM) as a teaching tool for lighting design simulations. An overview of the modeling accuracy and rationale behind Lightscape(TM) is introduced. An examination of the most effective learning curve is presented through a scrutinized examination of the required convergences between the necessary theoretical knowledge on light and Lightscape(TM) utilization. Finally, the pedagogical objectives supporting the application of Lightscape(TM) for a graduate lighting course are discussed.
