Mutual recognition in Axel Honneth's Philosophy: contributions to the peaceful conflict transformation

This article is understood as a study of the mutual recognition through a revision of Axel Honneth's philosophical proposal with the objective to indicate its main contributions for both the construction of the human identity and the practice of the methodology of peaceful conflict transformation. So much so that it will be emphasized, especially and according to Honneth, how mutual recognition facts will enable people to feel more confident, respected and esteemed. It is important to mention that these three values are necessary for the positive regulation of conflict and for the construction of cultures for making peace. Besides, the mutual recognition will be related in these pages to others peaceful means of the conflict transformation.
