摘要
Industry is continually in a state of flux trying to adapt to the dynamics of the market place and ever-changing technology. This focus on the continuous improvement of an organization is based on a primary foundation: the ability of an organization to promote a cultural change in the organization. This ability of organizations to convince their workforce to change is a key indicator of the organizations success in the market place. Historically, the motivation of the workforce to change has come in a variety of packages ranging from edicts from management to the focus on educating the workforce in a formal training setting. A model has been proposed to allow personnel to evaluate training programs proposed within an organization. The concepts of the proposed two-phased model are based on the integration of two existing models: Systematic Project Management Approach and NIOSH's 4 Stage Training Intervention Effectiveness Research Model. Phase 1 utilizes a worksheet to across the value of the training to the organization. Phase 2 of the model determines the resource requirements for the training program based on the concept of Resource Requirement Planning.
