摘要
Objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) has been described as an examination where students demonstrate their competence under a variety of simulated condition. Aim of the present study is to assess students of college of nursing perspective about OSCE in adult and consolidation nursing courses. A descriptive research design was utilized to achieve aim of the study. The study was conducted in the college of nursing, Hawler medical University at Iraqi Kurdistan region. A non probability convenience sample of 79 students who completed adult (32students), and consolidation nursing (47students) courses were recruited for the study. A self-administered structured questionnaire was used to collect the data concerning student's perspectives regarding OSCE. Results of the study indicated that the highest percentages of the study sample agreed that the OSCE motivated them for further study. More than halve of them mentioned that the test was objective, and they were well oriented to OSCE. Overall students' perspective of OSCE was positive and encouraging. It is recommended that continuing appraisal and refinement of OSCE test should be done by the college.
