Find the way ...

Find the way... is not only the professional competence slogan of the Centre of Excellence of the Central European Training and Research Centre in Spatial Planning (SPECTRA) at the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology (STU), Bratislava, Slovak Republic, but also the symbol of its attempt to set personal and professional linkages between engineering educators and researchers in Europe and worldwide. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate good practice and successful implementation in linking the role of education and research with international cooperation and innovation in order to achieve synergy effects of international collaborative programmes and an extension of bilateral cooperation in the functioning multilateral network of collaboration. The prime purpose of the joint collaborative programmes was to satisfy the needs of academics and researchers for continuing education, an exchange of experience, and the dissemination of know-how and technologies in the fields of spatial planning and sustainable urban and regional management.
