摘要：
Because of the requirements a powered support has to fulfil and the working conditions, it is necessary to carry out a lot of testing on the support and its parts before its operation starts. When we consider that underground installation of an untested and incorrect support requires its transportation into the surface workshop, a very complicated procedure from the technological point of view, it is easy to understand the importance of the powered support testing. This paper deals with the importance and the methodology of testing a powered support and its parts.
