Sincerity and Credit: The basic guarantee of Electronic Commerce

摘要
Sincerity and Credit is a persistent virtue that is advocated by the Chinese nation in thousands of years. The thought of Sincerity and Credit in the ancient times in China has no difference with what the development of modem market economy needs. Any country with mature market economy is required to build up the system of sincerity and credit. During the development of Electronic Commerce, the economic pattern of society, the model of economic activities and the ways of people's association and thinking, etc, all changed much. So sincerity and credit is the important ethical principle in the time of Electronic Commerce. It demands to set up the perfect social mechanism of sincerity and credit. To structure the mechanism in the whole society; it can be considered in five aspects: to cultivate an ethic norm focusing on sincerity and credit; to create a social environment on sincerity and credit with the rule of law; to construct a management system of the corporation's sincerity and credit; to establish a nongovernmental organization evaluating sincerity and credit; to set up a physical guarantee system protecting the social sincerity and credit.
