180° domain walls in ultra-thin magnetic films with fourfold anisotropy

摘要
We discuss 180 degrees domain walls when magnetostriction is small. Analytic as well as numerical calculation under periodic boundary conditions provides for a reasonable domain wall width using the bulk anisotropy parameter. This clears up some of the puzzles raised by recent experiments and calculations by Berger et al. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
