摘要
This paper describes an application of Narrative Therapy to working with pre-school aged children in the family setting. Techniques have been specifically tailored and adapted to meet the developmental needs of this age group and assist with therapeutic engagement through all phases of therapy. We focus on three components: theme-development, externalising the problem or helper, and multi-sensory communication. Two cases are presented, which illustrate the therapeutic work with 4year old children.
