摘要
The burning behavior and the influence of flame retardant species viz, polymeric flame retardant, low molecular weight flame retardant additive and renewable flame retardant polymer on a starch based biodegradable film are described. The flame retardancy of the biodegradable film has been assessed in terms of limiting oxygen index (LOI) and the biodegradability of the flame retardant additive treated film by a soil burial test.
