Chemical constituents from the aerial parts of Saussurea involucrata with their inhibitory activities on α-glucosidase

摘要
A new aurone glycoside named licoagroaurone 6-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside (1), together with six known compounds (2-7), was isolated from EtOAc-soluble extract of the aerial parts of Saussurea involucrata. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods. All compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory activities against alpha-glucosidase in vitro. Among them, compounds 1 and 6 showed significant inhibitory activities on alpha-glucosidase with the IC50 values of 47.1 and 57.7 mu M, respectively.
