摘要
The use of electromagnetic waves for monitoring or imaging an object has been taking advantage of the concept of radar, such as for disease detection, object classification, range measurement, and others. Due to the large number of radar developments involving human objects, it is necessary to investigate how much power signals are transmitted to the human body so as to not disturb the internal organ system. This research designs a simple radar system to measure the signal power absorbed by the human body. This radar consists of three main components, namely USRP B200mini as the signal generator, Spectrum analyzer which functions to measure the signal power, and Vivaldi antenna as the signal transmitter that works at the frequency of 2.45 GHz. The power absorbed by the human body in this experiment is 1.26 dB. This information is very useful to determine the right radar parameters for the application of radars involving the human body, especially the regulation of the radiation signal power so that no damage occurs.
