摘要
The sealed relay is one of main electronic components in the national defense electronic system. It can transmit signal, execute control and distribute power for system etc. The sealed relay's reliability affects directly reliability of the whole national defense electronic system. The FMECA method is applied widely at present as reliability analysis method, and it has played an important role in ensuring product reliability. This paper, using FMECA, is to improve reliability of the sealed relay in design. All potential failure modes, failure reasons and failure effects for the sealed relay are listed here. The evaluation criterion of the critical failure modes is established through qualitative criticality analysis based on criticality matrix diagram. Then taking a certain type of aerospace relay as an example, the paper analyzes its critical failure modes and failure reasons, and provides the corresponding corrective actions (ways of improvements).
