摘要
Vegetable oil fuels, such as bio-oil, stand out as biofuel. For the production of bio-oil, a widely used system is the cracking process, which aims to decompose the triacylglycerides of vegetable oil into hydrocarbons and free fatty acids. The Fodder radish (Raphanus sativus L.) was selected as a raw material and the oil was subjected to thermal cracking at three temperatures, 400, 600 and 800 degrees C. The bio-oils obtained have chemical compounds such as hydrocarbons, alcohols, ethers and ketones and the absence of aromatic compounds, which are harmful to health. The physical-chemical properties of bio-oils showed a high acidity and water content. The esterification of the bio-oils was made using a simple and easy method and the esterification contributed to improve the physico-chemical properties of the bio-oil, and CONF-e 600 being the esterified bio-oil with the highest amount of hydrocarbons.
