Integrated design of spiral bevel gear with low sensitivity and high contact ratio

摘要
An approach for quantifying the sensitivity of contact ellipse to the errors of misalignments of spiral bevel gears is proposed. Based on tooth contact analysis algorithm with consideration of alignments (ETCA), a synthesize optimization objective function which set contact ratio and the sensitivity as bi-objectives is established. An algorithm based on varied-weighted sum approach and tracing Pareto method is applied to solve the target function. According to numerical simulations, we draw the conclusions: i) The increasing of contact ratio leads to higher sensitivity; ii) By adjusting the second-order contact parameters, spiral bevel gears with higher contact ratio and relatively lower sensitivity can be gained.
