Derivation of the generators of the pseudo SU(3) symmetry group of heavy nuclei in the shell model picture

摘要
We derive the explicit form of the unitary operator connecting the normal parity harmonic oscillator eigenstates with the full set of eigenstates of a pseudo oscillator. This unitary operator allow us to analyze the shell model of medium and heavy nuclei with the help of a pseudo SU(3) group.
