Sociology of life as new trend in interdisciplinary studies

<<"Sociology of life" as new trend in interdisciplinary studies>> engages into polemics with recently (Sociological studies, 3-2000) views of Zh. Toshchenko on a "sociology of life" concept. This concept is evaluated as a relatively new trend in social sciences taking shape at the joint of sociology, philosophy, and social psychology, and studying individuals' live processes in their social context. The author pleads for a double edged sociology for a society - one for societal systems world and another for live world in its social dimensions. Giving a detailed description of his own for "sociology of life", author concludes with the hope that debate about this notion shall produce shots of novel social knowledge.
