摘要
This paper presents an overview of concept and design of a stereo sensor system for an intelligent autonomous vehicle. The sensor system is currently used for obstacle and lane limitation detection at RASCAL, a vehicle participating at the DARPA grand challenge 2005. The stereo sensor system is based on an embedded system, which is one of the key features. It is built as a low power, space saving and robust system.
