摘要
As a major source of greenhouse gas, cities must undertake the main responsibility of decelerating global warming. Taking Tianjin as a case, this paper focuses on the urban building emission which is one of the major sources of urban emission, and it analyzes the status of buildings' carbon emission in Tianjin from different viewpoints. Based on that, scenario analysis is taken to estimate the building emission of Tianjin from 2010 to 2050 under the different scenarios. Following are the main conclusions: (i) both of the energy consumption and carbon emission of Tianjin show a continuously increasing trend in recent decades, (ii) among the total building emission, public building emission occupies the biggest share and shows an ascending trend, (iii) Low-carbon building mode must be an option for the future development of Tianjin buildings. Based on the results of empirical analysis, strategic suggestion for developing low-carbon buildings in Tianjin has been proposed, which can also be applied to other Chinese cities which are in the later stage of urbanization.
