摘要
this paper demonstrates a Dual band Multi-Constellation GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Antenna solution for automotive applications. In designing a GNSS Antenna to cover global requirements and specifications to be considered in order to support multiple navigation satellite constellations. In addition to GPS, the GLONASS constellation is required to support ERA-GLONASS in Russia, the Galileo constellation is required to support eCall in Europe. Also, there is the BeiDou constellation being deployed by China. These constellations have varying bandwidths and carrier frequencies, it is a challenge to design and integrate an antenna solution to support global coverage. In this paper, a single Dual band multi-constellation patch antenna is designed and result shows some of the potential applications.
