Obstacle Detection for Intelligent Vehicle Based on LabVIEW and Laser Measurement System

摘要
The paper proposes the system of obstacle detection for intelligent vehicle based on LabVIEW and laser measurement system. The system uses laser to detect obstacles, and obtain distance measurement, which is transferred to LabVIEW, and is processed to control intelligent vehicles. The system mainly includes serial VISA operation, Cartesian and polar coordinates images, data processing and storage, obstacle detection and judgement for intelligent vehicle, control of LMS291 and data acquisition program. Through the actual measurement, the obstacle detection results are obtained. The results show that the control platform based on LabVIEW is a new approach for intelligent vehicle, which plays significant roll in the study on intelligent vehicles.
