摘要
Bubble deck technology was developed in Europe in the 1990s by Danish engineer, Jorgen Breuning. This technology possesses many beneficial attributes such as cost effectiveness, reduced carbon footprint and construction time when compared to the conventional solid slab. In addition, these benefits could be enhanced when it is incorporated into steel-concrete composite structures. Therefore, this paper provides the finite element modelling of the push-out tests for bubble deck system incorporating into composite steel-concrete beams. These push-out tests investigate the shear capacity of the headed shear connectors. The finite element models provide similar results as compared to the experimental test results. The results also showed that there is no significant reduction of shear capacity in the presence of the voids near those headed shear connectors.
