摘要：

The (2 + I)-dimensional sine-Gordon system is investigated via a generalized bilinear operator representation. Plateau, basin, bowl and saddle-type ring solitons are thereby constructed. It is indicated how iterated Moutard transformations may be employed to extend the range of the method.
