摘要
In the era of knowledge economy, organizational success totally depends on performance of Human Resources [1]. In the past decades, HR has shifted its emphasis to knowledge sharing and strategic workforce analysis and has been evolving to become a significant contributor in the strategic management of organizations more and more [2]. For instance, HR data can be used as a resource for achieving cost savings and unique competitive advantage in all core management aspects comprising; planning, leading, organizing as well as controlling [3]. At least to some extent, human resource management shifts are attributed to advance technologies such as using information systems in the context of human resource or indeed, human resource information system (HRIS) [4]. This paper proposes a conceptual model for an efficient personnel monitoring system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The most significant aim of the proposed system as is to track the moyements of the employees through the efficient monitoring system, at any time and any places Within an organization. Therefore, the proposed system would facilitate the provision of quality information for managers to make informed and efficient decisions pertaining to their major source of competitive advantage; the employees.
