摘要
. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of Russian and Swedish official data on the volume of mutual international trade for the years 2001-2015 in terms of value. It reveals divergence in the information both on the total volume of import/export, and as well on separate commodity sections and divisions of SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) goods traffic in two directions: Russian imports from Sweden - Swedish exports to Russia; Russian exports to Sweden Swedish imports from Russia. It was found that the differences in the total volume in the first goods traffic on average 6 times less than in the second, but in a number of product groups and divisions differences compensate each other and therefore the total amount of divergence is low. Recommendations for the improvement of custom statistics are offered.
