Standardization in ITU-T

The paper will describe activities and experience of ECI in telecommunications standardization, especially in the ITU-T. We will start by describing the market and motivation, other bodies active in the field, and the difference between them and the ITU-T. The method of operation of the ITU-T will be described, followed by examples of the standardization activities involved within the development of marketing efforts of some of ECI's products. For ECI the standardization activities are considered to be a must. Why and how, will be explained during the presentation.
