Multi-agent systems, theory and simulation the Milly simulation system

摘要
The concept of agents and multi-agent systems is one of the most important and exciting concepts to emerge in computer science in the '90s. These systems are built up from intelligent agents that are capable to solve complex problems autonomously. My goal is to make this complex system design easier thus to develop an interactive agent builder and easy-to-setup simulation environment. In this way scientists can try their ideas without doing programming or it might be useful in university level education to show and analyse complex systems. In the paper I introduce the structure of the system and detail its main components. I also include some demonstrations of the possible use of the program, a military one and some references to biological and economical ones.
