Template synthesis and structure of Ni(II), Cu(II), Co(II), and Co(III) hexaazamacrocyclic compounds based on S-alkylisothiosemicarbazide

摘要
New Cu(II), Co(II), Co(III), and Ni(II) hexaazamacrocyclic complexes based on S-alkylisothiosemicarbazide and beta-dicarbonyl compounds were synthesized and characterized by IR, H-1 NMR, and C-13 NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, magnetochemistry, EPR, and thermogravimetry. An X-ray diffraction study of [3,9-bis(propylthio)-13-nitro-1,2,4,8,10,11-hexaazacyclotetradeca-2,4,6,9,10,13-hexaenato(2-)-N-1,N-4,N-8,N-11]copper(II) confirmed the square-planar structure of the compounds in question.
