摘要
The river sleeper Odontobutis potamophila is a small benthic freshwater goby and promising candidate for aquaculture in China. We isolated and examined 14 polymorphic microsatellite loci in 45 individuals collected from Lake Tai in eastern China. The number of alleles (N (A) ), polymorphism information content, and the observed and expected heterozygosity (H (O) and H (E) ) per locus in these markers ranged from 8 to 30, 0.7209 to 0.9947, 0.8222 to 1.0000, and 0.7596 to 0.9640, respectively. Six loci deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium due to heterozygote deficiency. Microsatellite markers will facilitate future studies of genetic diversity, population structure, and conservation efforts for O. potamophila.
