The Construct of Organizational Knowledge Transformation in Different Levels

摘要
Based on literature review of organizational knowledge transformation (OKT), this study developed an item list of OKT Questionnaire by means of literature review, interview, and pilot study. 486 survey data was collected from general managers, divisional managers and employees of 162 firms who were different organization levels in China. In empirical study, we adopted ICC indicators, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis, One-way ANOVA to analyze the construct of OKT. The results showed that 1) OKT process of Chinese firms has a construct of six dimensions, which was comprised of individual level transform, collective level transform, organizational level transform, individual and collective level transform, collective and organizational level transform, individual and organizational level transform; 2) OKT Questionnaire had suitable reliability and high validity; 3) OKT processes in three main body levels had no significant differences among state-owned, foreign and private firms, while significant differences existed in OKT processes among three main body levels.
