Challenges and Strategies in the Application of "Flipped Learning" into College English Teaching

An analysis of College English Curriculum Requirements shows that college English teaching should attach more "importance to language output process and the improvement of students' autonomous learning ability and humanistic quality. "Flipped-learning" provides both opportunities and challenges to achieve this goal. This paper gives an analysis of these challenges from the following five aspects: course resources, autonomous learning ability, design of class activities, class management and students' learning types, and try to put up some strategies to handle those challenges.
