摘要
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between dioxin concentration in humans and their living environmental factors such as diet or residential district. We develop a nonlinear random effects regression model based on a pharmacokinetic model that explains dioxin accumulation in the human body. The model takes into consideration two points: individual differences in dioxin intake and historical exposure to dioxins. We apply the model to data collected by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Copyright (C) 2003 John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
