摘要
The influence of three-dimensional (3D) rotated anisotropy on the stability of soil slope is investigated. Random field theory is employed to model the heterogeneity of soil shear strength parameters, and finite element analysis is conducted to compute the slope response. In addition, Monte Carlo simulations are carried out to compute the probability of the 3D slope failure. Based on the simulation results of an idealized 3D soil slope, it is observed that the rotated angle significantly affects the slope failure probability as well as the failure mechanism.
