摘要
We report a photonic ring resonator structure in the terahertz (THz) regime based on a topological framework to explore the role of different defect states on the high Q-factor (similar to 1200) resonance modes. The simulated transmission result shows a resonance redshift of 10 GHz due to the introduction of a defect state. Such high Q-factor resonance can be used in nonlinear optics and for the development of advanced photonic integrated circuits.
