摘要：
Study conducted to review the status of veterinary services available to pastoralists in districts of Bikaner and Jaisalmer located in arid zone of Rajasthan revealed that animal health care systems under study were not adequate to provide satisfactory services to pastoralists which forced them to turn towards quacks. In some of the hospitals even bare minimum facilities like electricity and regular water supply were not available. There is total lack of communication means. A brief profile of pastoralists receiving veterinary aid is also mentioned.
