摘要
Experimental results for the first comparison between membrane bioreactor and a conventional activated sludge treatment system for the treatment of CTMP indicate that the membrane bioreactor has superior performance. The mst significant advantages are removal of COD, suspended solids, and the toxicity of 48 h-LC50 for Daphnia Magna. The lignin amount in the membrane bioreactor is higher so the lignin concentration if the permeate was less than that measured in the final effluent of the activated sludge treatment system.
