EARLY CHILDHOOD ART: APPROACH TO TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESSES IN THE METROPOLITAN REGION- CHILE

摘要
The purpose of this article is to investigate the teaching practices of Pre-School Educators in the Metropolitan Region regarding the development of activities related to the Nucleus of Artistic Languages. The research was carried out through an online survey and the subsequent development of interviews where information could be collected on the educational needs of educators and the main difficulties to meet the challenges of the 2018 Curricular Bases, where professionals are invited to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge in early childhood for the development of creativity, the interpretation of reality, aesthetic appreciation and sensitivity. The research analyzes and account the need to highlight art as a central element of child education and the contextual limitations in our country to carry out specific artistic experiences that consider children as subjects of law, where artistic learning allow the development of empathic people, sensitive and aware of their environment and the responsibilities that it demands.
