摘要
This article is devoted to the examination of the influence of upper respiratory system disease in humans on the functioning of voice recognition systems. To recognize the speaker by their voice, such systems must be prepared in advance for recognition of the person's voice on the basis of recorded sound samples. Then the recognition system analyzes a new voice sample and verifies whether it has been spoken by the same person. However, often in life there are situations when the human voice is changed. They may be caused by a disease, passage of time. effect of intoxicants or deliberate user action in order to mislead the system. This article is devoted to an analysis of a situation when the speaker's voice has been modified between the system's phase of preparation for recognition, and the actual recognition of the speaker. For the research purposes, the focus has been restricted to voice deformation of Polish speaking persons, caused by an acute disease of the upper respiratory system.
