摘要
Bridgeless rectifier as front-end power factor correction (PFC) converter has been obtained abundant popularity due to its praiseworthy merits of optimized power losses produced by power semiconductors. In this technical paper, novel bridgeless SEPIC rectifier with improved losses and concise circuit structure is proposed by using bidirectional power switch. Compared to conventional SEPIC rectifier, proposed SEPIC rectifier features an optimized efficiency via lessening the count of semiconductors in power-flowing path. Compared to state-of-art bridgeless SEPIC rectifiers, proposed bridgeless SEPIC rectifier possesses concise topology structure and less component. The discontinuous current mode (DCM) is presented, which has the merits of naturally PFC and the zero-current switching are analyzed. Finally, a 100W simulated model are constructed aiming to certify superiority of this new rectifier.
