摘要
Holography has the potential to be the ultimate 3D experience. Since holography has a very high data amount compared with 2D image, a method for efficiently compressing it is needed. In this paper, we introduce a Zero-tree based compression technique for compressing hologram data. First, we introduce the random phase hologram standard data set provided by JPEG Pleno. By applying wavelet transform to hologram, we analyze various energy distribution which depends on wavelet filter. Apply EZW in wavelet domain and analyze compression efficiency according to energy distribution
