Magnetic parameters of a two-layer steel object monitored for coercive force with a horseshoe electromagnet

摘要
A method is proposed for calculating the magnetic parameters of a two-layer massive steel object magnetized by a horseshoe electromagnet. It is found that the depth from the coercivity meter reading of the surface layer agrees well with the experimental value.
