Research on the Incentive Problems of Software Developers Career Management in Software Enterprises

Software developers are the enterprises' core staff, who is also the most essential factor to the development of software enterprises. Through introducing the stages of developers' career, the characteristics of different career stages, and the developers' needs features, this paper suggests that the developers' needs characteristics should be recognized distinctively, while career planning and management should be conducted for those developers. In order to meet their needs as much as possible, the author proposed diverse motivation methods, which aimed at providing different stimulation manners to developers of different career stages. Only the fact that the enterprise implements various incentives in career management can arouse the staff's enthusiasm and creativity, which will achieve their individual growth and promote the development of software companies at the same time.
