摘要
Changes in FAL and peroxidase activity and lignin content in seedlings of Triticum aestivum varieties, different in resistance to Septoria nodosum, were studied. It was shown that primarily high level of ion-binding peroxidase activity together with quick induction of peroxidase and FAL activity in post-infection period in resistant varieties resulted in more effective protection of wheat plants against S, nodosum infection. Although changes in FAL and peroxidase metabolism and lignin synthesis were detected in both resistant and not-resistant wheat varieties seedlings, the resistant plants are characterised by higher level of peroxidase activity. Furthermore, the post-infection increase in FAL activity occurs earlier and riches higher level in resistant wheat varieties comparing to that in non-resistant plants. This process causes intensification of lignin synthesis and thus increases the effectiveness of plant protection.
