Serving the children - New Jersey's volunteer child placement review boards

As part of its effort to bolster Public support for the courts, the American Judicature Society's State Court Resources Committee has commissioned articles describing locally based court-community cooperative efforts. The first article, describing New York's court watching program, appeared in the March-April 1997 issue. This article describes the role of volunteers in New Jersey's child placement review process.
